Where to Ride
Depending on the riding that you want to do, St. Cloud and surrounding areas has a great variety of places to ride.
There are a couple of very nice MTB trails right here in St. Cloud. The Mid-Minnesota Cycling Club does all of the trail work and maintenance for these trails. Please check out their website http://midmncycling.blogspot.com for more information on membership and directions. We also have membership forms at the store for those of you looking to get involved building and maintaining the trails.
Looking for more places to test out your mountain biking skills? Minnesota has dozens of trails throughout the state. Many are just a short drive from St. Cloud. The Minnesota Off Road Cyclist website http://www.morcmtb.org/ has a great trail guide for the entire state.
Is cruising the countryside on pavement more your cup of tea? Then check out the Lake Wobegon trail. The beginning of the trail in St. Joseph is just a short drive, or even better, ride from St. Cloud. The main part of the trail runs for 46 miles to Osakis and has an extension that goes from Albany to Holdingford. Check out the trail’s website at http://www.lakewobegontrails.com/
Whether you are looking for a casual route to cruise on the weekend or a new training route with some killer hills the St. Cloud area has you covered. Ask one of our staff to point you in the right direction and enjoy the ride.
